How To Record a Phone Call on An iPhone?

I need to record a phone call on my iPhone for personal or work-related reasons, but I’m not sure how to do it since there’s no built-in feature. Are there any safe and legal ways to record calls on an iPhone? Can someone recommend apps or methods that actually work?

Record a third-party app such as TapeACall or record with voicemail where permitted by local law. On iOS, call recording is not built-in.

iPhones don’t have a built-in call recording feature due to privacy laws. To record a call, use third-party apps like Rev Call Recorder or TapeACall. Ensure you're following local laws, as call recording may require consent.

To record a call on iPhone:
  1. Use Voice Memos (speakerphone required) or third-party apps like TapeACall.
  2. For built-in options, enable Screen Recording with mic (swipe down Control Center, long-press the recorder, tap mic).
Note: Inform the other party to comply with local laws.
